1. Scope and seller

These terms apply to all orders placed on mymagcover.com. Your contract partner is the operator named in our imprint (“we”, “us”). Our offer is aimed at consumers. Terms of the customer that differ from these terms do not apply.

2. Products

We sell personalised magazine-style covers as prints, unframed or framed, which we make to your design. You create the design yourself in our configurator: you choose the edition, upload your own photo and set names, dates and texts. The product is made according to the preview shown in the configurator. Colours on the printed cover can differ slightly from your screen due to display settings and the printing process.

3. Conclusion of contract

The products shown in our shop are not a binding offer, but an invitation to order. You place a binding order by clicking the final order button on the payment page. Before that you can check and correct all details in your bag and on the payment page. We accept your order by sending an order confirmation by email, which is sent automatically right after your payment has been completed. The contract is concluded with this email.

The contract language is English. We store the contract text; you receive the order details and these terms by email with your order confirmation.

4. Checking your design

Because your cover is printed exactly as you designed it, please check spelling, names, dates and image section carefully before ordering. Once payment is completed, your order goes straight to print and can no longer be changed or cancelled. We do not correct spelling or check content.

5. Prices and shipping costs

All prices are in euros. For deliveries within the EU they include the statutory VAT of the destination country. For deliveries to the United Kingdom, the USA, Canada and Australia, your cover is printed in or near the destination country; the prices shown are final prices. If import duties or local taxes are charged in individual cases, they are borne by the customer. Shipping costs are shown in your bag and on our shipping page before you order.

6. Payment

Payment is made in advance via our payment provider Stripe. The payment methods available are shown on the payment page and may depend on your country (for example credit and debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay). The amount is charged when you place your order.

7. Production and delivery

We start production right after your payment. Delivery times are stated in business days from your order, including printing, and are shown in your bag and on our shipping page. We deliver to the countries listed on the shipping page. If delivery is delayed or impossible for reasons beyond our control, we will inform you immediately. If a product cannot be made at all, we refund any payment without delay.

8. Your photos and texts

By uploading a photo and entering texts, you confirm that you hold the necessary rights and that all people shown agree to the use of their image. You must not upload content that infringes the rights of others (for example copyright, trademark or personality rights) or is unlawful, discriminatory, pornographic or violent. We may refuse orders with such content and refund the purchase price. If third parties make claims against us because of content you provided, you will indemnify us, unless you are not responsible for the infringement.

You grant us the right to use your photo and texts solely to make and deliver your order. We do not use them for any other purpose without your explicit permission.

9. Customer account

The customer account is free and optional; you can also order as a guest. You sign in with a link we send to your email address, so please keep access to your mailbox private. Saved designs are kept for you, but we cannot guarantee that they are stored permanently; please order or download what matters to you. You can delete your account at any time in your account settings. We may close accounts that are misused.

10. Right of withdrawal

Personalised covers are made to your specifications. The statutory right of withdrawal therefore does not apply to them (§ 312g (2) no. 1 BGB). Details are on our Right of withdrawal page.

11. Warranty

The statutory warranty rights apply. If your cover arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us with photos, ideally within 14 days of delivery, so we can claim the damage with the carrier quickly. We will replace the cover free of charge. This request does not limit your statutory rights.

12. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the Product Liability Act and where we have given a guarantee. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of an essential contractual obligation (an obligation whose fulfilment makes proper performance of the contract possible and on which you may regularly rely), limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Otherwise our liability is excluded.

13. Applicable law

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer with your habitual residence in another country, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of that country.

14. Dispute resolution

We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. Please contact us directly at info@mymagcover.com.
